A new calendar?
Many of you will have heard of the Gregorian calendar, which most of the western world now follows, and the Julian calendar, which used to be the calendar in Britain until 1752. What is less well known is that there is a calendar called the Jonasannah calndar. this is what we have been following for the last few weeks. The main difference is that according to the Jonasannah calendarm Pentecost and Trinity Sunday are celebrated a week earlier than the Gregorian calendar. We are now back to the Gregorian calendar, with apologies for any confusion.
